Dear Friends,

As the year draws to a close, we’re finding ourselves in need of something we haven’t always allowed ourselves: rest. This holiday season, we’ve decided to take a step back from our newsletters until January. It’s a decision rooted in something we’re still learning to embrace—the need for boundaries, space, and a rhythm of grace.

For many of us who have deconstructed from high-control religion, the holiday season carries complicated layers. It’s not just the busyness or the obligations but the weight of what the season used to mean and how we’re learning to reimagine it.

In the past, we may have felt pressure to “serve,” to “be enough,” or to make every moment spiritually significant. But now, we’re learning that holiness can look like slowing down. Rest can be sacred. Boundaries can be an act of love—for ourselves and others.

This year, we’re choosing to honor those lessons by creating space for rest, reflection, and the people closest to us. We’re leaning into the permission to say, “This is enough.” For a season that’s often wrapped up in giving, it feels radical to receive the gift of stillness.

We’re also deeply grateful for you—this community that shows up to wrestle with hard questions, hold space for nuance, and explore what it means to live authentically and fully. We hope this pause inspires you to consider what rest might look like in your own life, however that takes shape for you.

When we return in January, we’ll bring fresh energy and new conversations that reflect this time of restoration. Until then, may your holiday season be filled with moments that nourish your spirit.

Whether you’re celebrating in a room full of loved ones or carving out a quiet moment for yourself, may you find peace, joy, and love—in the ways that feel most true to you.

With gratitude and hope,

Lizz and Esther

So there's that too! This is a great time for you to catch up on any episodes that you missed and we will still be putting out or newsletters (probably more like biweekly) at this point!!
